Glenelg Country School
Our drone photographer recently captured aerial photos and video of some of the Founders Day festivities at Glenelg Country School.
Glenelg Country School is an independent day school in Ellicott City, Maryland, inside Howard County, adjacent to Columbia, and between Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The School offers a continuous college preparatory program from age 2 through grade 12. GCS was founded in 1954, enrolling 35 students in grades one through seven. In the fall of 1985, the new Upper School division opened with 10 students. The first class graduated in June 1989. Today, Glenelg Country School enrolls over 750 students.
In the video, you will see the stunning Glenelg Manor sitting upon pristine landscaping of the land known as "Dorsey's Grove". The medieval, castle-like architecture is perfect for drone photography, complete with crennelations and a flag displaying the school’s green and white colors perched atop the tower parapet.
