Douglas Road
These aerial photos are of a section of Douglas Road in South Bend, Indiana. You can see its various features, including the roundabouts, sidewalks, new and reconstructed roadways, and traffic signals. The photos also capture wind turbines and the Stepan Center at the University of Notre Dame.
In one of these photos, you can see the Stepan Center, a 21,000 square foot Geodesic Dome, situated behind campus athletic fields and on the northeast corner of campus, north of Flanner and Grace Halls on Stepan Drive. The Stepan Center is used to host events such as concerts, sporting events, and ethnic festivals.

Project Highlights
What we did
Our pilot got to the location and took a drive around Douglas Road to plan the shot, before setting up for the launch. Two places on the mile long segment were chosen, and we were able to get beautiful images of the area and its surroundings.
About the Drone
The DJI Phantom 4 is one of the best of the industry. It packs a lot of tech in a small package, including multiple vision sensors for collision avoidance, a great camera, and a GPS so it always knows where it is.
