Project Overview

Modular Expansion Enhancing Healthcare - Morgantown, WV

The drone photos by Dronegenuity show the modular construction project on top of WVU Medicine’s J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. This project helps the hospital serve more people in West Virginia and nearby areas.

Morgantown is home to West Virginia University (WVU), which has a well-known medical program. J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, part of WVU Medicine, is the biggest hospital in the state and a Level 1 trauma center. As more people need care, modular construction is a quick and easy way to add space without stopping hospital work.

The new buildings on the hospital roof show how pre-made units help hospitals grow fast. These units were built somewhere else and put together on-site, saving time. This method helps add patient rooms, offices, or special care areas.

The imagery we captured highlights the area around the hospital, next to WVU’s Milan Puskar Stadium, showing the close link between the university and its hospital. The stadium, home of the WVU Mountaineers, is nearby, showing how healthcare, education, and the community are connected.

Dronegenuity’s drone photos show how this way of building is helping hospitals grow and improve healthcare in Morgantown, West Virginia.
